Televisions are becoming increasingly smart, by incorporating a connecting to the Internet, televisions offer users novel ways to interact with media and other users. TV’s have numerous settings that can be changed to optimize the viewing experience.
These settings can be ambiguous to users as – perceptually – they have similar or limited effect. Given this insight, his project investigated how users navigate the settings menu for Picture Quality (PQ).
